Huhhot, April 18 (Reported by Zhang Cheng) - According to the Erenhot Customs in Inner Mongolia, the freight volume of CRE trains through the Erenhot Railway Port in the first quarter reached 815,000 tons, with 802 trains operating, representing an increase of 3.85% and 7.5% respectively year on year.

Erenhot Railway Port is the largest land port between China and Mongolia and the only entry and exit port for the CRE trains through its central corridor. Currently, there are 71 operating routes, covering a wide range of products from initially mobile phones and computers to over 10,000 types of products including complete vehicles and accessories, mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment.

Erenhot Customs continues to deepen the construction of smart customs and smart ports, empowering the high-quality development of CRE trains. Together with railway authorities, they have built a one-stop service guarantee platform, rationalizing customs and railway supervision into the logistics operation process, achieving one-time linkage between import and export goods supervision and logistics operations. They have also deepened the application of the "rapid customs clearance for railway imports" business model, fully implemented reforms such as "direct pick-up at the customs," streamlined "Internet + customs" online processing procedures, and provided online business processing for enterprises, resulting in a more than 70% increase in port clearance efficiency for train services.
