At 10:47 pm on April 13, the Y497 "Prairie Star" tourist special train departed from Huhhotdong Railway Station with more than 700 passengers on board, embarking on a 14-day southern "slow travel" journey.

The distinctive feature of this tourist special train is the "one train, four lines" concept. After arriving in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, passengers can choose from four tourist routes to explore Guangxi, Hainan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Vietnam according to their itinerary. This concept not only caters to the diversified and personalized consumption trends in the tourism market but also meets the travel needs of passengers to visit multiple attractions in one trip and relax physically and psychologically.

During this journey, passengers can visit famous attractions such as Xiangyang Ancient City, South China Tropical Garden, Detian Waterfall, Mount Longhu, and Mount Lu and enjoy various flowers blooming along the way. They can also experience the unique charm of the customs, food, and scenery of Hong Kong and Macau.

It is reported that the "Prairie Star" tourist special train uses high-quality sleeper carriages throughout the train. With arrangements for round-trip sleeper accommodations and a one-ticket service, passengers can travel with the train, eliminating the hassle of transferring trains and handling luggage. The train operates in a "daytime sightseeing, nighttime travel" mode, achieving an organic combination of "fast travel" and "slow travel," avoiding the issue of inadequate time for visits.
